How to Register a Camper
Camp To Belong Georgia welcomes campers who have brothers or sisters placed in separate foster, adoptive, or kinship homes. Registration is coordinated through county DFCS offices.
- Contact your county DFCS office and ask to speak with the Resource Development Manager about the Camp To Belong Summer Camp Program.
- Share program details with the Resource Development Manager. If they are not yet familiar with Camp To Belong, ask them to contact our office directly.
- Confirm upcoming dates on our Special Events and Connection/Camp Dates pages so you can plan around the six-day, five-night program.
- Stay in touch with our team as the camp session approaches for updated forms, packing guidance, and health information.
Camp fee: The fee for each camper is $800 to attend a week at camp. All monies raised stay in Georgia and go directly toward programming that reunites siblings separated by foster and other out-of-home placements.
What Happens Next
Once a camper referral is received, our staff works with the referring caseworker and the camper's family to complete intake paperwork, medical forms, and sibling-group confirmation. Counselors are trained to welcome campers of all ages, with signature programs tailored for teens and the wider sibling connection experience for younger campers.
