Beyond the summer

Our Programs

Camp To Belong is not just a summer camp. Our work continues all year, championing the sibling bond for children placed in separate foster, adoptive, or kinship homes across Georgia.

A Year-Round Commitment

Although Camp To Belong is best known for the camp experiences, the organization is committed throughout the year to educating the nation about the value of the sibling bond. Programming extends beyond a single week, reaching into the lives of families, agencies, and communities.

Every program is rooted in the belief that brothers and sisters placed in separate homes deserve consistent support, meaningful connection, and voices that advocate for their right to grow up together.

Beyond the summer gathering, the organization carries its mission into every season, offering programs that sustain the sibling bond long after campfires have faded. These recognized services are designed for brothers and sisters living apart in foster, adoptive, or kinship homes, providing continuity of connection when daily life pulls them in different directions. Activities, gatherings, and shared moments are crafted to remind them that their relationship is enduring.

Year-round commitment means the work reaches families, agencies, and communities throughout the state, not only during the signature camp week. Educational outreach highlights why keeping brothers and sisters together matters, encouraging dialogue among caregivers, social workers, and neighbors. The aim is to foster respect, empowerment, and emotional well-being, helping children carry the warmth of sibling love into classrooms, courtrooms, and everyday routines.

Each program is rooted in a simple belief: meaningful time together helps children grow into more confident, emotionally healthy young people. Opportunities to play games, share meals, exchange goodnight messages, and simply be present create childhood memories that last. Through ongoing sibling connection, the organization strives to honor the dignity of every child placed in separate homes and to champion the relationships they deserve to keep.
