About Camp To Belong Georgia
Camp To Belong Georgia is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to reuniting brothers and sisters placed in separate foster, adoptive, or kinship homes through summer camp programs and year-round events. All monies raised stay in Georgia and go directly toward programming for reuniting siblings.
We partner with Camp Twin Lakes to provide an enriching camp experience for children who might otherwise be unable to attend camp.
Reaching out to a nonprofit that reunites siblings separated by the foster care system can feel like a meaningful first step, and the contact page is designed to make that step approachable. Reaching a responsive team helps volunteers, families, and supporters feel welcomed rather than overwhelmed by an unfamiliar organization. The page offers a clear sense of who handles each area of inquiry, so visitors can connect with the right voice for their needs. Before writing, it can help to gather any relevant thoughts in advance, allowing the message itself to remain focused and sincere, which is often appreciated by busy nonprofit staff members.
Connecting with the people who organize sibling reunions offers a chance to learn more about how the camp experience is shaped each season. Volunteers, donors, and curious community members often have questions about participation, scheduling, and the broader mission of keeping brothers and sisters in meaningful time together. A thoughtful message can open the door to conversations about involvement, whether someone hopes to lend skills, attend the summit, or simply understand how the organization serves children placed apart from one another. Clear and respectful communication helps ensure that every exchange reflects the warmth and intentionality behind the program.
Following up after reaching out allows the relationship with the organization to deepen over time, especially as new opportunities to get involved arise. Staying subscribed to updates and newsletters helps visitors remain aware of upcoming events, volunteer needs, and ways to support the mission of empowering youth through shared experiences. Each interaction, whether a question, a donation, or a moment of encouragement, contributes to a community built on respect, emotional support, and the belief that every child deserves connection. Continued engagement ensures that the impact of sibling reunions extends far beyond a single summer gathering.
