Siblings Forever
nurtures the bonds between brothers and sisters affected by sibling separation by providing free camps, events and programs creating the opportunity to build forever memories rooted in sibling connections.
The sibling relationship is most often the longest relationship throughout life; Siblings Forever builds on this foundation to bring continuity in family and community.
Siblings Forever is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization that unites brothers and sisters placed in separate foster, adoptive or kinship homes through summer camp programs and year-round events.
New name, expanded commitment to siblings!
2024 is an exciting year for our organization. After primarily offering an overnight summer camp for over a decade, 2020 brought about the addition of new ways to serve siblings. In response to COVID-19, our organization was forced to modify the way that we served our separated siblings by introducing virtual and holiday events in 2020, and day camps and an overnight weekend camp in 2021. SInce 2022, we have operated our new programming of day camps and a weekend camp alongside our traditional overnight summer camp. In 2024 we will add two new Family Connection events that serve individual sibling sets. This is an exciting time in the life of our organization as we now have the ability to serve our children multiple times each year in a variety of forms. These additional programs have prompted us to rebrand as Siblings Forever to better reflect the expanded programs that we now offer.
Our mission will remain the same in bringing together separated siblings, but the methods that we employ have expanded to also serve the support system of their families.
Our Impact
All kids deserve the opportunity to spend meaningful time with their brothers and sisters. While many of us take for granted the opportunity to share meals, play games and say goodnight to our siblings each day, the kids we serve at Siblings Forever cherish these small moments that they do not always have. These moments are what we strive to create, so siblings impacted by siblings separation are able to have positive childhood memories. We serve siblings experiencing separation through a variety of circumstances that includes foster care, adoption, kinship care and other dynamics.
